In 2005, CCSTA established a charitable foundation to assist students in Catholic schools with their tuition costs in provinces with limited or no public funding. During its 2006 AGM in St. John’s, NL, CCSTA members envisaged the Toonies for Tuition campaign as the official fundraiser for the Charitable Foundation. This year, April 30 is designated as the official day for our donations campaign. Please consider donating. Lent
It is time for our Parent Support Group to switch it up a bit. With most of our executive board “graduating” with their children this year, we have many opportunities for parents or guardians coming into the school. We encourage everyone, but especially those with students in grade 8 and 9 to come to the meetings and find out what we do, and how. Our next meeting is on March 12 @ 6pm in the Learning Commons (no meeting today in observance of Ash Wednesday).
