nOVEMBER

It is definitely getting colder here in the Okanagan!  We are lucky to have our own WHL (Western Hockey League) the Kelowna Rockets! The students took in a game one Saturday night and even got to meet our mascot: Rocky Racoon! November was a very busy month there were lots of comings and goings. We welcomed two groups of Japanese students that joined us for two weeks each, and we said goodbye to Cristina who was here for a three month experience. A majority of our students took a trip to Vancouver with Maria, Myriam, and Mr. Richard! There are lots of pictures below of the places they visited and the fun they had! Some of our students experienced seeing snow for the very first time! Our school had a PJ's day, and took time for a Remembrance Day para-liturgy to give thanks to those who have fought for our country. We had three girls in our program play on our volleyball teams, Isabel and Valentina played grade 8 volleyball, and Renata on the Senior team. Our Senior girls team just returned from the Provincials where they placed 4th!!!
